The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee has jurisdiction over all cases prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney. The Knoxville Division handles cases from fourteen counties: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Grainger, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, and Union.
The Chattanooga Division handles cases from nine counties: Bledsoe, Bradley, Hamilton, McMinn, Marion, Meigs, Polk, Rhea, and Sequatchie.
